Episode 30, "Geisha Lookalikes"

In this episode of the AniManga Podcast, we go over the manga "Sakuran" and try to follow it's lengthy and intriguing period story. Jammer talks about workplace shenanigans, and we decide on what series we'll go over in the coming weeks. We'll be off this week, but don't fret, as the week after we'll be back with "Darker Than Black" with Foxy from the SSAA Podcast.

Hi. I was on the fence about Sakuran, and now I am pretty sure I will just check it out from my local library instead of buying it. The main reason I was interested in it was actually because of the author, which I thought was why you guys would even check it out with to begin with.
Moyoco Anno is actually the wife of Hideki Anno, the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Also, the Manga to Evangelion did come first, but it was to promote the anime before it premiered. This seems to be not all that odd for original mech shows. The manga for both Heroman and Eureka Seven AO started a few months before their anime counterparts as well.

I am looking forward to hearing you guys talking about Darker Than Black, but I still think it would be super awesome if you guys go over Ral Grad .

And.... I know you guys mention it sometimes, but it might be a personal question, so,,,, I was wondering if you could talk about what you guys do for a living? I know Dominic still goes to school as well, but knowing about that would be cool too. :) Some college stories from Jammer would be nice too.
